Call Companion Befriender

Are you friendly, warm and enjoy talking to people? Would you like a flexible volunteering opportunity that is only 30 minutes a week but will make a big difference for a lonely older person?
As a call companion you’ll make regular telephone calls to an older person you are matched to. These friendly chats are great to get to know someone and also can be a lifeline of social connection for someone!
This is a flexible, homebased volunteering role that can easily be fitted in around your own lifestyle and availability.
Please note that you must be at least 18 years old to become a Re-engage volunteer.
