We are looking for volunteers to help run libraries in primary schools. Fair Start helps primary schools in areas of book poverty build, stock, decorate and run libraries.
Our aim is for all children to have access to books and to foster a love of reading for pleasure. Our first library is at St Richard's Primary in Hanworth TW13 6UN and our next project is at the Buckingham Primary School in Hampton
What skills do I need?
- Basic administration and IT skills.
- A love of reading and and in getting children to read.
