We are looking for volunteers with interest in gardening and love the challenge of working outdoors.

The successful volunteers will have the chance to work with nature and gain significant experience in practical woodland management.  By maintaining a tranquil place for ex-forces, their families and friends to meet, sit, remember, reflect and talk; they can make a real difference to those who lost their loved ones.

We would like to invite volunteers to give a few hours a week of their time to help the Charity Chairman and Trustees with the day-to-day maintenance of the charity’s woodland.  Some of the duties include:
•    Weeding
•    Planting
•    Pruning
•    General garden maintenance

What skills do I need?

The role is suitable for hardworking, enthusiastic individuals with keen interest in garden maintenance to support the long term aspirations of the charity in helping ex-servicemen in need.
