We are seeking volunteers to use one of our three sewing machines (or bring their own) and initially to make "bags for life" from a large quantity of curtain material that has already been donated to us. After that the group can decide what they want to make next possible led "left over from bring and swaps" This group would meet on THURSDAYS 1030-1230 am and be based in our Community "Well Being" Garden in Ewell right next to Bourne Hall Park. People are welcome who also want to hand sew.
What skills do I need?
No experience required but a willingness to learn from others for hand sewing. Out sewing machines can only be used by someone familiar with using a sewing machine. However it is hoped that more experienced people will be willing to help less experienced people. Everyone who want to can also get involved in organizing regular bring and swap sessions
