Do you enjoy playing and interacting with children? Want to make a difference in the lives of young people with special needs?

Brightlights is a vibrant charity providing parents and carers with a much-needed break while their children (ages 5–13) enjoy exclusive use of the Egham Orbit Soft Play area. We offer games, arts and crafts, outdoor and indoor activities, as well as time spent in the soft play area, and snacks in a safe, inclusive setting.

Session Details:

Thursdays: session runs 5:45–7:15pm (excluding Christmas and Easter). However we would appreciate volunteer helpers to attend prior to this and stay behind after to help with setting up and clearing away.

Location: Egham Orbit, Egham

What skills do I need?

Our young attendees have a range of abilities—some communicate verbally, others do not. We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic volunteers who are patient and willing to engage with children 1-to-1 or in small groups.
