In this role you'll work alongside your local fundraising team of staff and volunteers to support the smooth running of community fundraising events in your area.

Activities in the role might include:

  • Helping manage registration or entry at events
  • Marshalling events
  • Encouraging our supporters at events
  • Dealing with enquiries and reporting incidents at events
  • Supporting fundraising activities and games on the day such as raffles or tombola's
  • Setting up marquees/stalls and clearing up

By volunteering your time and expertise you'll be actively helping to change people's lives!

You may have participated in our annual Starlight Hike where people can get together with family and friends and walk under the stars to remember someone special, while raising funds for our vital end of life care and bereavement support.

So, if you fancy getting involved with annual events such as these, get in touch today!

We want to provide an experience that is inclusive, friendly, and supportive. To do this we will:

  • Ask for your feedback on how we can do better
  • Deal with any concerns or complaints quickly and fairly
  • Make sure you have a clear understanding of what you need to do in your role
  • Repay out-of-pocket travel expenses

What skills do I need?

What we hope you'll bring to the role

  • Be well organised
  • Work well as part of a team
  • Have good computer skills
  • Have brilliant communication skills
  • Understand how important confidentiality is
  • ·Enjoy meeting new people
