Kennet Radio are looking for someone within the fundraising field who has previous experience of grant applications and/or events management.

Even though Kennet Radio is staffed by volunteers, it still costs money to run a community radio station, so they have to raise funds through fundraising events, grant applications, and sponsorship deals.

There are a lot of organisations competing for attention in the fundraising space, so they need innovative, attention-grabbing promotional ideas that will help to set them apart from the crowd. If you’ve got ideas, they'd love you to share them with them!

Kennet Radio broadcast online in June 2016 and has now won a licence to be community radio FM station! Commitment is flexible as we have presence for local events throughout the year.

We are based in Broadway House, which is located at the northern end of Northbrook Street near the Clock Tower, opposite Domino’s Pizza.

What skills do I need?

Demonstrable previous experience of working with a not-for-profit organisation is required, either as a successful fundraising event organiser or as an author of successful grant applications.
