St Edward's Church, Burgess Hill, is going for a part time volunteer administrator for about 5-6 hours a week, to start asap.
The role includes the following, but a full role description is available.
• Provide administrative and clerical support to clergy including invoicing and keeping records
• Produce church service sheets and bulletins weekly , using Word
• Maintain the church calendar via Google
• Handling orders, photocopying, photocopier serving and parts, and general office upkeep
• Overseeing bookings of the building
• Handling churchyard enquiries
What skills do I need?
Key skills we are particularly interested in are:
- Strong administrative skills with an eye for detail
- Experience with Microsoft Office, and ideally MailChimp and Wordpress
- People person
- Ability to work under own initiative
- Good communication skills
- You do not need to be a Christian to undertake this role, but do need to be understanding and supportive of the work of the church.
