About Chailey Heritage Foundation

Living with complex disabilities can be overwhelming and isolating. Our charity is here for children and young people living with physical disabilities, complex medical and communication needs. We’re here to listen and explore life-changing possibilities together. Our outstanding school, welcoming residential homes and bustling centre combining gym and art therapy, a farm and café create a thriving community of support. Our expert team dedicate time, patience and curiosity to nurturing the potential of every child and young person who comes to us. By sharing our skills and expertise within and beyond our sector, more children and young people are able to benefit from our approaches

 Are you looking for a fun and flexible way to support a great cause?

Chailey Heritage Foundation is on the lookout for enthusiastic and reliable occasional fundraisers to help out at our events throughout the summer! Whether you have just a few hours to spare or want to get more involved, this is a great opportunity to meet people, gain new skills, and make a real difference in the lives of young people with complex disabilities and health needs.

Activities may include:

• Giving a warm welcome to event participants
• Cheering on the runners raising funds for CHF at the Brighton Marathon
• Chatting to supporters about our amazing work
• Serving refreshments with a smile
• Selling raffle tickets, tombola, or lucky dips at a stall
• Acting as a friendly marshall to guide attendees
• Collecting donations with a bucket and a big smile
• Helping set up and pack away event materials
• Promoting volunteering opportunities and other events

What skills do I need?

No experience necessary. Volunteers need to have 

• Enthusiasm and commitment
• Able to represent CHF in the community
• A friendly smile!
