Mid Downs Radio is a hospital radio service broadcasting a variety of music, entertainment and information to patients, staff and visitors and to the wider community from our studios in the Princess Royal Hospital We have an active new committee and are recruiting a Secretary to join us and help to provide this valuable and unique service. The Secretary has a key role not only preparing the agenda and taking and sending out minutes of committee meetings but also managing internal communications between the committee and members, circulating details of upcoming events and providing administrative backup to the chairman.

What skills do I need?

Applicants will need to be able to take accurate minutes and use Microsoft Word or a compatible equivalent. There is also the opportunity to train as a presenter and host their own show.

Location

This opportunity can be carried out whilst working from home.

This isn't a full-time role, but a small amount of time may be required each day to follow-up on any emails from members and send out meeting minutes. We meet once a month, usually a Tuesday evening at the hospital in Haywards Heath where the secretary's presence is required for meeting minutes.
