Volunteer to make a difference to young children's lives

Do you have some time to give and would be interested in being part of a friendly team?

We are a Local Academy Governing body looking for an enthusiastic, inquisitive person with good inter-personal skills to help us shape the strategic direction of our school.  We look for a range of different skills and experiences and share a common interest in wanting the best possible education for the children in our school.

We are a thriving, friendly school with around 400 children ranging from the ages of 4-11 that promotes an ambition for all our children to be the best that they can be and have an excellent start in their educational journey.

The governing body meets twice each term, within the working day, and governors are encouraged to make termly school visits, plus any other events you may wish to attend. Full training opportunities are available and encouraged, to enable you to develop your own skills both personally and professionally.

If you're tempted and would like to know more about how valued you could be, please register your interest and Mrs Alex Cooke, Chair of Governors will contact you.

We very much look forward to chatting with you
