Volunteering Opportunities with Angling Coaching Initiative (ACI)

We are the only Voluntary angling coaching group in Essex (and Kent) so we have an enormous potential market. We are now well established and are steadily expanding, through increased numbers of coaches and new venues. There are two main areas where we are looking for volunteers. The first is for ANGLING COACHES, so we can take on more students. The ratio of students to coaches is initially only 2 to 1 so it does call for a large number of coaches. We had to turn away quite a few students last year as demand outstrips supply, so we are keen to obtain more, and move on to additional areas and fishing clubs as resource allows. The other area is we have a few students with some disabilities such as ADHD etc. who could do with some additional Angling Coach SUPPORT personnel. You would act as an assistant to the angling coach in that swim and help ensure the engagement and safety of those pupils, plus take on some additional activities if you wish to keep them happily occupied and busy.
