The Town-LAT CSWV’s contribute to community road safety activities by participating in the Sussex Safer Roads Partnership, which includes Sussex Police, West Sussex Fire & Rescue Service and West Sussex County Council. Volunteers assist with Operation Crackdown’s educational programme of speed monitoring at pre-selected locations to reduce the number of drivers exceeding the local speed limits.
