About
We spend more than £1m each year caring for Essex wildlife and encouraging others to do the same. We have over 1,000 volunteers who freely give their time and skills to support conservation in Essex. Last year we taught over 27,000 children about wildlife at our Visitor Centres and in schools. We welcome over 200,000 visitors at our Visitor Centres each year. We run nearly 100 wildlife courses and activity days for adults and children each year.
