About
We provide a FREE-TO-AIR service for local charities and community groups, with a cost-effective advertising service for local businesses. Being a community radio station we survive on money raised and services bought, which provides a facility for the whole of the community. To date we’ve assisted almost 100 charities, almost 50 independent artists, and 100’s of individuals from the charity, community and business sectors in Shropshire have a voice – to tell their stories. Aside from usual broadcasting we serve our local communities by defining specific projects. We can assist and produce tangible outcomes for specific sectors of society with specific information and messages, especially those in social or economic deprivation or minority groups. We sometimes partner with businesses and charities which can mean we can also generate a community project that is attractive to funders which enables us to complete it.
