About

Mid Sussex Radio is a Community Radio Station for the Burgess Hill area, including Hurstpierpoint, Ditchling and Hassocks. It's run by members of the community, for the community. There are no shareholders and any profits made are either reinvested in the radio station or distributed to local charities and worthy causes. Mid Sussex Radio features local news and events, interviews with community groups and leaders, Councillors, local business people and members of the community with something to say! Young people who may be thinking of a career in radio are actively encouraged to take part and we offer training in the skills and techniques of radio presentation and production. The radio station has an ‘open door’ policy and anyone who wants to broadcast will be given every opportunity to get ’on-air’! We're always looking for volunteers either to present or produce a radio show, or to help fund-raise, help with news gathering and presentation or to help keep our website looking fresh and up to date.
