Volunteering Opportunities with Sycamore Halls Community Association

The Winklebury Youth Project is based at the Centre and welcomes new members plus volunteers on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Two groups aimed at the over 55s are - The Drop In... is a group run by two of our volunteers on a Wednesday afternoon between 2pm and 4pm. It is a free service, where our visitors can get a cup of tea or coffee or squash, cake and sit with others to either chat, play games, puzzles or read. It is a wonderful little group, very friendly and welcoming. Our second group, Great Oaks Lunch Club, is currently running the first Tuesday of every month, but in the New Year will be the first and third Tuesday of every month, between 12 and 2pm (unless otherwise stated) and costs £4 for a two course meal, drinks and entertainment. From the New Year, one group a month will also offer silver surfing and crafts.
