You may be aware that along one end of Stokes Bay Road, Gosport, is a Victorian Gun Battery, officially recorded as Number 2 Battery. (Grade 2* Listed) Today the building is used by the Historical Diving Society which opened a Diving Museum there in April 2011 which is staffed and run entirely by volunteers. It is open between April and the end of October each weekend and Public Holiday.
