SMTT is a West Sussex based charity which provides grants for therapy to individuals – children, young people and adults – who have experienced early years adversity and related trauma. Set up in memory of Shannon a young woman who took her own life at the age of just 21. Shannon experienced significant early adversity and trauma pre-birth for the first nine years of her life. To honour her memory, the Charity aims to enable others with similar experiences to access the kind of trauma therapy that was not available to her.
