Volunteering Opportunities with Wash Common Community Association

The Wash Common Community Association is a registered charity that built and manages the community centre at Wash Common. The Community Centre provides facilities for a preschool, local clubs and groups such Brownies and church groups. It is also available for use on an occasional basis for parties, etc. The management of the Centre is undertaken by a small committee of volunteers that meets in an evening approximately every 6 weeks. The income from fees for those using the Centre keeps the building in good repair and pays for heating, lighting, refuse collection, etc. The financial position of the Charity is sound. The management of the Association is over seen by the Trustees of the Charity.
