We offer 1:1 coaching for adults who can\'t read. Volunteers are trained by us, then meet twice weekly with their reader for 30 minute coaching sessions working through a structured phonics based learning programme. Our volunteer readers build strong bonds with their readers over time and have the satisfaction of knowing that the support they are giving is completely transformative for their reader. We are looking for reading coaches especially in Runnymede and Spelthorne. There is also an exciting opportunity for a volunteer co-ordinator (this person works with and supports a small team of reading coaches and is a member of our wider co-ordinator team).
