The Wilderness Foundation UK harnesses the power of the wilderness and nature to transform vulnerable lives and empowers people, in return, to conserve nature. Each year we work with over 8,000 people, including some of the hardest-to-reach and most disadvantaged young people and adults in society. We offer nature based therapy programmes that catalyse transformational personal growth and change, building longer term resilience and independence in communities, alongside our conservation educational work including climate change and sustainability programmes. All of our projects and programmes provide direct support, connecting people to nature, benefitting mental and physical wellbeing and to teach people to care for nature into the future, providing education, tools, strategies and techniques.
