Volunteering Opportunities with Woking Community Furniture Project (VSNS)

Woking Community Furniture Project is a local charity providing donated furniture, husehold goods, and electrical items at low cost to people in Woking and surrounding area, with a special focus and discount prices to those in the community needing help. The charity works closely with local churches and charities who identify those most needing our help in buying items at reduced prices. It also provides valuable work skills, experience and support to the long-term unemployed or those disadvantaged in our community. It is an active partner working with Woking, Runnymede, Surrey Heath and Surrey County Councils in supporting their Re-use strategies. This has the additional benefit of reducing large quantities of furniture being sent to costly landfill sites
