YMCA Fairthorne Group is a children's charity that works with over 20,000 young people every year, across south east Hampshire, Dorset and Isle of Wight. We have 3 community hubs. Fairthorne Manor, situated near Botley, offers outdoor activities for children and young people, school holiday activities and an 89 place nursery. Winchester House, Shanklin, offers residential opportunities, school holiday activities, a children's bereavement service and a young carers project. George Williams House, Southampton, offers supported housing for 79 young people who would otherwise be homeless, as well as a range of youth school engagement work. YMCA Fairthorne Group offers daily care for under 5s at a further 5 nurseries in Southampton, Portsmouth, Gosport and Newport as well as school holiday activities across the county. Across Dorset we offer a year-round befriending programme for young people with disabilities as well as a mobile playscheme each school holiday.
