Minds to Media (MTM) is a vibrant youth-focused media organization empowering young people through creative education, arts, and mental health support. We are seeking an organized and dynamic Events Manager Volunteer to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of our youth-facing showcases, local workshops, and community activations across the borough.
What skills do I need?
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the logistical planning, setup, and on-site management of MTM events, creative sessions, and pilot programs.
- Coordinate with internal department leads (Marketing, Programmes, and Media) to ensure events align with our brand and safety standards.
- Act as a key liaison with local venues, partners, and community stakeholders to secure operational spaces and equipment.
- Manage event schedules, participant coordination, and on-the-ground volunteer teams during live activations.
Skills: Strong event management or project coordination experience, exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills, a friendly and confident communication style, and a passion for creating safe, high-energy spaces for young people.

This role requires a high degree of flexibility. While there are no fixed daily hours, the volunteer will need to dedicate time to plan effectively and be available for weekend or evening workshops, festival activations, and showcases.
