The Huw Johnson Club is a weekly social club for adults with a learning disability with about 20 members. Activities include bingo, crafts, discos and performances by choirs and bands as well as meals out and trips bowling.
Volunteer minibus escorts needed to escort a minibus transporting members to and from the Club (Saffron Walden to Stansted) on a Thursday evening approximately once a month (first journey 5.30-7pm; return journey 8:45-10pm). We hire a 15-seater minibus, which is fully wheelchair accessible. Full training will be provided.
What skills do I need?
Suitable volunteers have an instant rapport with the members. Caring nature.
All volunteers to undergo a DBS check.
