TOUR HELPER
Volunteers are needed to serve teas and cake to guests at the end of their tour, afternoon tea or evening supper.
Talliston is a unique house and gardens in Great Dunmow. Dubbed “Britain’s Most Extraordinary
Home” by The Times and recently featured on Channel 4's Outrageous Homes with Laurence
Llewelyn-Bowen, we are looking to expand our small team of indispensable volunteers.
The commitment is just a few hours every last weekend of the month, and if possible occasional weekdays.
Tasks needed:
- Taking orders for tea and coffee.
- Making and serving refreshments
- Washing up and putting away
- Keeping the kitchen clean and hygienic at all times.
- Checking stock of beverages, sugar, milk etc.

Tours run on Saturday & Sunday 11:30-14:00 and 15:00-17:30.
teas are served at 13:00 and 16:30 and duties last one hour.
Volunteers usually do both tours on one of these days, but there is the possible to do just one tour.
