Role summary 

 We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic volunteer with a passion for cameras and photography equipment. Whether your interest lies in vintage film cameras, modern digital equipment, accessories, or collectible models, this role will help us identify, research, price, display and maximise the value of camera donations received by the shop. 

Main duties of this role may include any of the following: 

 • Identify and assess donated cameras, lenses and photography equipment. 

 • Research camera models and current market values. 

 • Assist with pricing specialist camera stock. 

 • Create attractive displays for camera-related items. 

 • Share knowledge with customers and fellow volunteers. 

 • Support the wider shop team with general retail tasks. 

What skills do I need?

Experience & qualifications required 

 • No formal qualifications required. An interest in cameras, photography or related equipment is desirable.

Training & supervision 

 • Full induction, retail training and ongoing support will be provided by the Shop Manager and retail team. 

 • Mandatory online training is required.
