About the Role
As a Volunteer Driver, you will play a vital role in helping our members travel safely to and from their destinations. You’ll be part of a supportive and dedicated team that values kindness, reliability, and a sense of humour.
We’re looking for individuals who enjoy meeting people, take pride in providing excellent service, and are willing to go the extra mile to make a difference in the community.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide safe, courteous transport for members to and from designated destinations.
· Build positive relationships with passengers, ensuring they feel valued and respected.
· Maintain confidentiality and uphold the organisation’s standards and policies.
· Communicate effectively with the team and report any issues or concerns as needed.
What skills do I need?
Skills & Qualities
· Must be over 25 years old with a D1 category on their driving licence.
· Friendly, caring, and approachable personality.
· Reliable, trustworthy, and able to commit to the service.
· Confident and competent driver.
· Good interpersonal and communication skills.
· Able to work independently but also seek assistance when needed.
· Respectful of confidentiality and professionalism.
