Kinetix CIC are looking for reliable and a community-minded Volunteer Driver/s to support our off-site provision, intervention programmes, events, and community displays across Essex.

Based in Witham, Essex, the role primarily involves transporting sports and activity equipment to and from venues, helping our team deliver positive opportunities for young people and local communities. Most activities and events take place across Essex and may include weekday daytime support, evenings, and weekend activities.

By volunteering with Kinetix CIC, you will be supporting our mission to create inclusive opportunities, improve wellbeing, and strengthen communities through sport, engagement, and positive intervention work.

What skills do I need?

Skills & Qualities

• A clean and relevant driving licenc
• Confidence driving vans and/or minibuses
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable, flexible, and able to work independently
• Awareness of safeguarding, Health & Safety, and professional boundaries
• Knowledge of local Essex roads and routes

Training and guidance relating to safeguarding, Health & Safety, and role responsibilities will be provided.

Please note, volunteers are not expected to carry out heavy lifting, as coaching staff will support with loading and unloading equipment where required.

An enhanced DBS check is required for this role. If applicants are not registered with the DBS Update Service, a DBS check will be completed as part of the onboarding process.

Mileage expenses can be discussed. Flexible volunteering opportunities available.
