We are looking for friendly bucket collector volunteers to attend events and public venues (as arranged by the fundraising team) to collect donations from members of the public. You will not be required to count donations as this task will be completed by Wessex Cancer Support staff.

The Organisation:

Wessex Cancer Support provides local cancer care support services for adults living with cancer across the Wessex region – Hampshire, Dorset and the Isle of Wight. Cancer support services include: counselling, complementary therapies, befriending, transport for Isle of Wight and Channel Island, singing support groups, and financial help for cancer patients and their families.

When:

Opportunities could occur any time of day during weekdays and weekends. Please specify in your application your availability.

Where:

Location will vary depending on where a fundraising opportunity is in the Wessex region and where you are located within Hampshire or Dorset. We will always ask if you are willing to travel to the event location and we won’t make unreasonable travel requests. We are happy to cover reasonable travel expenses, which must be discussed with your fundraising contact.
