- We are looking for volunteers to help run our new memory café in Chandler's Ford.
- The Memory Café is for anyone living with dementia and for anyone who is lonely, isolated or to make friends.
- Each week we will have different themes, activities and at times entertainment.
- Our volunteers welcome visitors, serve refreshments and sit down and chat with those who attend.
- This is a wonderful opportunity to make new friends, support people who benefit from social interaction and be part of a great community charity.
- Also the home of the Healthy Veterans Project
What skills do I need?
- We welcome volunteers of all ages who like to make friends and talk to people on an equal basis
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to take part in and lead group sessions
- Enjoy chatting to people of all ages
- Training will be provided
