Veterans Dementia Support is a volunteer-led organisation staffed by trained professionals who offer dedicated support to veterans living with dementia or Alzheimer’s, as well as their families and carers. Each individual with dementia, along with their family and friends, may have different experiences with the condition. Many encounter challenges related to changes in independence and public perceptions associated with dementia. Veterans Dementia Support offers comprehensive advice and guidance, facilitating opportunities for veterans and their families to connect through an expanding network of friendship and carer support groups.
