Bringing the ‘Wow!’ to our youngest Scouts, in a welcoming, safe and inclusive environment, the Section volunteer teams make it happen for our Squirrels.
6th Farnborough Scout group in Farnborough are looking to start up a Squirrels group on Thursdays 6-7pm and are looking for a team of volunteers to help organise and lead sessions in term time.
Wanted: Natural smilers, panic-free adapters and easy encouragers. In the Squirrels Section Team, you’ll be making our 4-6 year olds’ eyes light up with wonder on a regular basis. We’re talking get-down-to-their-eyeline talkers and ‘let’s-discover-the-World-together’ co-adventurers. Sound like you? You’ll be passing on skills for life to our youngest Section, while mentoring, making sure the environment’s safe and keeping everything behind the scenes ticking over. Never been a Scout before? Neither have the Squirrels! Trust us, it’s never too late to get involved in the fun!
We offer full training and support, previous Scouting experience isn't needed, just a willingness to get stuck in.
What skills do I need?
