We are a small not for profit local charity in the New Forest based in New Milton since 1969 and are looking for a fresh outlook and input of ideas from a new Trustee.
If you have one day a month spare to volunteer your time as a Trustee, we would love to hear from you. Whether you are a parent or keen individual with a business, financial, PR, Marketing, HR, legal or carer background this role is for you. We run three social and leisure clubs for adults with Learning difficulties in term time and run a charity shop in New Milton.
We are affiliated to Royal Mencap but receive no funding from them and are therefore autonomous in all our fundraising activities and community events that we run. We have a Trustee Executive Committee Meeting on the second Monday, 6pm every month, either at the Nedderman Centre or online via Teams to discuss plans and activities within the Charity.
If you would like more details, please register your interest, we would love to hear from you.
