Volunteering Opportunities with New Forest Mencap
About
New Forest Mencap is a local charitable organisation which provides support to people with learning disabilities and to those who care for them. We offer a variety of activities mainly based in our centre in New Milton but also at Brockenhurst and across the Forest. Because the activities we provide are so varied (from fitness sessions to social evenings, discos to chill out clubs) we can find the right place for you to use your time and talents to reduce some of the barriers that someone with a learning disability will inevitably face. Whatever your skills or experience, we can find a use for them, so don’t be shy, call or email to begin volunteering your time to enable someone with a learning disability enjoy their life. Our volunteering opportunities are diverse and are available daytimes, evenings and weekends, short term or with a longer commitment – contact us to see what we currently have available (drivers especially welcome!)
