Veterans Dementia Support UK is seeking enthusiastic and committed Volunteer Trustees who want to make a real difference to the lives of veterans, people living with dementia, memory loss, and their families. Unlike many trustee roles that focus solely on governance from a distance, we are looking for individuals who are willing to take a hands-on approach and become actively involved in supporting, developing, and growing the services we provide. Our trustees are encouraged to engage with our activities, volunteers, members, and community initiatives to better understand the impact of the charity and help shape its future.

Trustees will work collectively to provide strategic direction, ensure good governance, and support the long-term sustainability of the charity. In addition, each trustee will take responsibility for a specific area of activity, contributing their time, skills, and experience to help deliver practical outcomes. We are looking for people who have the time, energy, and commitment to become involved in projects, attend events, support volunteers, and help us expand our reach and impact within the community.

No previous trustee experience is required, as training, guidance, and ongoing support will be provided. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds who share our values of compassion, inclusion, teamwork, and community service. This is an excellent opportunity to use your skills to support a growing charity while helping improve the lives of people affected by dementia.
