As a Front of House volunteer at our Wanstead Centre, you will welcome and support visitors by providing a friendly, helpful presence at the entrance. Assist with registrations, answering questions, and guiding guests to activities or services. Create a warm, inclusive atmosphere that helps everyone feel comfortable and valued. Our Front of House volunteers are the friendly faces that make everyone feel welcome and comfortable when they arrive at the centre.

  • Taking lunch bookings by writing names into the booking list.
  • Taking the money for refreshments and lunches.
  • Serving teas and coffees, and also the 12.30pm lunch. When serving the lunch, we carry the plates out to people, so this is a fairly mobile role.

  • Reliable and punctual with a willingness to learn
  • Empathetic and able to build rapport with a diverse group of visitors
  • Enjoy working as part of a team in a busy, welcoming environment
