Set in the stunning ground of Bedfords Park, an historic parkland site of 215 acres , owned and managed by the London Borough of Havering. The nature reserve affords fantastic views over London and into Kent and is a fantastic place to volunteer.
We are looking for a Facilities Volunteer to help out around this beautiful site.
You role would include the following tasks:
- Help maintain our Building and Grounds around the Visitor Centre
- To assist with simple DIY tasks around the site
- Volunteers work at their own pace and be comfortable in taking breaks when needed.
- Following advice from the site management plan and staff.
- Utilizing a variety of hand tools to help complete tasks.
- Ensure that the work carried out is safe and efficient and the site is left safe and tidy for visitors.
- Adhere to procedures relating to hygiene, health and safety, fire and security and any other relevant risk assessment information, training given.
This role requires 1-2 mornings a week, but we are willing to be flexible.
