The Role
Do you have an interest in providing high quality arts and entertainment? Are you able to help shape memorable community experiences in Horsham District?
We are seeking a Non-Executive Director to join our small and passionate Board of three people. What you’ll do:
- Provide oversight and governance.
- Provide strategic advice and constructive challenge to the Board and management team
- Help shape strategy
- Act as an ambassador for Happy Accidents
- Contribute to Board meetings and occasional task groups
Role details:
- Location: Horsham, West Sussex
- Salary: Voluntary
- Commitment: Initial one-year term, with four online Board meetings annually plus occasional task groups
What skills do I need?
Skills Experience (professional or personal) in at least one of the following four areas:
- Education
- Budget/financial management
- Monitoring and evaluation (progress and impact)
- Charity governance
Experience:
- Operational and/or company management experience
- Creative ideas, strategic thinking, or problem-solving skills
- A willingness to learn, listen, and contribute as part of a supportive team
Location
This opportunity can be carried out whilst working from home.
