Who Are We?

We run a welcoming and friendly Baby & Toddler Stay & Play group every Friday morning, providing a safe and supportive space for babies, toddlers, parents, carers, and families to connect, play, and build friendships within the local community.

The Role

We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable volunteers to join our Stay & Play team. This is a rewarding opportunity to support local families, help create a positive environment for young children, and make a real difference in your community.

As a volunteer, you will:

  • Help set up the venue before the session and tidy away equipment at the end.
  • Welcome families as they arrive and help new attendees feel comfortable and included.
  • Engage with parents, carers, babies, and toddlers in a warm and friendly manner.
  • Support the smooth running of activities throughout the session.
  • Signpost parents and carers to safeguarding support or appropriate services when required.
  • Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where families can connect and thrive.

What skills do I need?

We’re looking for people who are:

  • Friendly, approachable, and good listeners.
  • Passionate about supporting families and young children.
  • Reliable and able to work as part of a team.
  • Comfortable interacting with people from a variety of backgrounds.

No previous experience is required—just a positive attitude and a willingness to help. Full support and guidance will be provided.
