Thursday Kitchen is a project supported by Ventnor Town Council and St Catherine's Church and provides a free hot lunch for residents on Thursday lunch times. We are looking for a cooks and kitchen assistants to help prepare lunches from 10.00 a.m. to 1.30 pm. At each session we provide around 50 meals.
Ideally have kitchen experience with food preparation and cooking for a group of people. Able to work alongside other cooks, servers and washer-uppers. The kitchen can get a bit busy! Food Hygiene Qualification is desirable, but we can arrange this for a suitable candidate. A good sense of humour is useful too!

Anytime from 10am - 2pm on a Thursday. Perhaps once a month, or once a fortnight or every six weeks. It can be more often if you like to help more frequently.
