The Newcastle Allotment & Garden Festival is a community celebration of gardening, growing, sustainability, local food, and wellbeing. Bringing together gardeners, allotment holders, community groups, local businesses, families, and visitors from across the region, the festival showcases the city's vibrant growing culture through a range of interactive activities and experiences.

The 2025 festival welcomed more than 5,000 visitors and featured inspirational talks and demonstrations, allotment plot displays, hands-on workshops, local traders and food stalls, wellbeing activities, live music, and family-friendly entertainment. The event aims to promote community connection, environmental awareness, creativity, and the positive impact of gardening on health and wellbeing.

Join our team of volunteers and help make this year's Allotment and Garden Festival a success.
