Explorers are all about asking the big questions and testing their limits. As a Team Member, you’ll be right there in the action during our relaunch.
You will:
- Get stuck into the moment of connection, whether that’s reaching a summit or finishing a job well done.
- Be the high-fiver who encourages young people to try, try again when things get tough.
- Help them see their side by listening to their ideas and helping them plan their own plan B (and C).
- Show them what sticking at it looks like, helping them gain the resilience they need for the future.
- Play your part in a colourful and relatable team that makes fun and adventure happen every week.
What skills do I need?
You don't need to be an expert camper or a knot-tying pro—we value your personality above all else. We are looking for people who are:
- Relatable and grounded: Someone who can talk human-to-human with young people and volunteers.
- Ready to give it a go: A ""go-getter"" who isn't afraid to get their hands dirty or try something new alongside the Scouts.
- Inclusive: Someone who believes everyone is welcome, regardless of their background.
- Team players: Happy to work with other adults to deliver an inspiring programme.
