Do you enjoy having fun and using your imagination? Do you enjoy camping and adventurous experiences? Can you inspire young people aged between 4 and 6 years old to focus their energy and reach their full potential? Why not join 1st Burton Latimer Scout Group as a member of our new Squirrel Scout team? We know that life can be busy, so we're all about flexibility: You really can give as much of your time as you choose on your terms! Whether you can spare one hour a week, a month or a term, it’s far easier to provide exciting activities at our meetings if we have your support.

What skills do I need?

Working as part of a team, Squirrel Scout team members assist the leader in planning and delivery of an exciting programme of activities. This is a fun and rewarding role and is ideal for people that enjoy working with young people. No previous experience of scouting is necessary. We provide a warm welcome, a sociable network, easy to access training and lots of ongoing face to face support. All applicants will be required to undergo a DBS check.
