Did you know Sue Ryder has it's very own hub of sustainability with the aim to minimise clothing waste even further and promote the circular economy? Well we do! In our Northampton warehouse we are reorganizing and making further use of what we have had kindly donated so that even less goes to waste. Things are then redistributed to local shops, raising even more funds for those who rely on our hospice care and bereavement services. If you know your vintage from your current, high end from your budget and real materials from your synthetics and want to get involved in supporting environmental change, we want to hear from you. If you are looking to gain experience in warehouse, environmental, logistics, online sales, recycling or charity team roles please get in touch. We are an exciting new project based in a warehouse environment. Please note you must be at least 18 years old to volunteer with us.

What skills do I need?

You don’t need any experience to join us as a volunteer, you just need to be willing and helpful with a flexible and enthusiastic approach. Full training is provided and we can be flexible around your availability. In return for your enthusiasm, you will have the opportunity to be part of a wonderfully friendly, forward thinking team, gain new skills and experience, and most importantly contribute towards making a difference to our service users and their families.
