Help uncover hidden treasures while gaining valuable behind-the-scenes e-commerce experience! As an E-commerce Stock Sorter, you'll play an important role in preparing unique and valuable donated items for sale online. Working in our busy e-commerce and photography studio, you'll help ensure every item is ready to begin its journey to a new home. All whilst raising valuable funds for our hospice and bereavment support services. Sue Ryder is here to make sure everyone approaching the end of life or living with grief can access the support they need. There is no one size fits all when it comes to how we cope and the help we need, but with our support, no one has to face dying or grief alone. We are there when it matters through our 7 hospices, Grief Kind spaces and online counselling and bereavement services. Please note we are based within an office of our national warehouse here: Sue Ryder, Sheaf Close, Northampton, NN5 7UL. Free parking is available on site.

What skills do I need?

We're looking for someone who's organised, reliable, and pays close attention to detail. You'll need to be comfortable handling items with care, working accurately, and being part of a supportive team. If you have an interest in vintage, collectibles, or second-hand goods, that's a bonus, but it's definitely not a requirement. You also don’t need any experience to join us as a volunteer, you just need to be willing and helpful with a flexible and enthusiastic approach. Full training is provided and we can be flexible around your availability. In return for your enthusiasm, you will have the opportunity to be part of a wonderful team, gain new skills and experience, and most importantly contribute towards making a difference to our service users and their families.
