- Volunteer Role: Cleaning Support
We’re looking for a friendly volunteer to help us keep our day centre clean, safe and welcoming for everyone who comes through our doors.
What you’ll be doing:
Helping to keep the kitchen clean and tidy
Mopping and vacuuming floors so the centre feels fresh
Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms
Why this role matters:
By giving a little of your time, you’ll be making a big difference — helping us create a comfortable, hygienic and welcoming space for our visitors and community.
No previous experience is needed, just a willingness to help and a positive attitude.
What skills do I need?
No specific skills are required — full training will be given. A little previous cleaning experience would be helpful, but the most important things are a positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to muck in and help.

Our day centre is a busy, welcoming space for the community, and keeping it clean and safe is a big job. By volunteering your time, you’ll be helping our small team make sure everyone who comes in feels comfortable and cared for. We simply couldn’t do it without the support of volunteers like you.
