Hope House is looking for motivated volunteers who enjoy gardening to help maintain our gardens at the hospice in Morda near Oswestry. The role involves light gardening tasks; such as weeding, pruning, maintaining flower beds and keeping the garden tidy. Grass cutting and strimming is undertaken by contractors.
What will you gain from the role?
An opportunity to create and maintain lovely gardens for the enjoyment of children and families visiting Hope House, a chance to develop and learn gardening skills and the opportunity to meet new people and work as part of a team with a variety of people.
General gardening knowledge, physically fit (able to carry light loads), reliable, enthusiastic and have a good team spirit.
Support will be available; you will have an induction, supervision and help from your manager, lunch is available on site and the opportunity for training.
