At Claygate Community Centre we are almost entirely volunteer run. with a group of trustees and about 50 volunteers running the centre six days a week. Our visitors are mostly older members, but we also have young families coming in for Tea and coffee at our friendly cafe and visiting the Waste to Plate shop on site.
We are looking for Ambassadors to be the friendly face of Claygate community centre.
Our Ambassadors help our visitors order lunch and sign up for activities going on in the centre.
They help set-up and serve lunches that are cooked in our professional kitchen by our 2 chefs and keep an eye out for any clients that look low or lonely.
What skills do I need?
There are no skill requirements for our ambassadors, just a willingness to help others and to be reliable as our community centre will rely on them turning up!
Being willing to talk to our visitors is a must!
